Jon Henthorn is a Tulsa-area business owner, project management professional and U.S. Army Aviation Veteran with an MBA in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University and the Project Management Professional (PMP) credential.
His background includes storefront-business ownership, project delivery, market research and cross-functional work involving engineering, supply chain, finance and field operations. What Jon does today
Jon currently leads planning, forecasting, reporting, risk visibility and cross-functional execution across a complex portfolio of hundreds of capital and technical asset projects for a major U.S. utility organization. The work connects engineering, procurement, supply chain, finance, vendors, field operations and senior leadership.
His focus is not reporting for its own sake. It is building project-level controls, reconciling fragmented information and making the next decision visible. Recent work includes developing bottom-up portfolio reporting used for leadership updates, resolving gaps across more than 100 legacy projects and materially improving forecast accuracy.

Jon has built and managed multi-location storefront businesses, using a close understanding of customers to shape offerings, service, marketing and daily operations. He built repeatable team practices and completed successful handoffs so the businesses could continue operating without depending on him.

Army aviation service
Before his business and project-management work, Jon served in U.S. Army aviation operations in Afghanistan. His responsibilities included mission planning, readiness reporting, communications, personnel coordination and airfield operations in a time-sensitive environment.
That experience continues to shape how he approaches operating systems: make responsibilities clear, keep critical information visible and build handoffs that work when conditions change.
